Make Your Cooking Even Healthier Without a Conventional Slow Cooker

A test was done on amino acid lysine found in peanuts. It was found that 20% of it was gone after cooking for an hour and a half at 150°F/66°C heat. After two and a half hours, only 60% of it was left. When cooking for long hours even at low temperatures, majority of vitamins are lost as they have less heat stability than this amino acid. So, it is proven that this low heat for a very long period of time actually damages nutrients.
